The end of a 21 year career!
Friday, October 24th was Dan's last day as a Police Investigator with the Rochester Police Department. The end of an era. We are all so proud of the work he's done getting thousands of really bad people off the street; solving some really big cases; doing the work that needs to be done that many of us would never think of putting our lives on the line to do. He LOVED being a policeman; he ALWAYS wanted to be a policeman. He fulfilled that dream, retired on his own terms and is moving on to the next chapter in his life....working for NYS in their Insurance Fund investigating worker compensation cases. His office will still be downtown, he'll still have a company car; he'll still be carrying a badge.....but NO GUN! yea!!!!!! wife is happy! He starts work there in a few weeks so he has some time to destress, readjust, do a few "honeydo list" items, get to see our grandson, maybe take a trip to Buffalo to see Meghan; and so it goes. Another chapter ends and a new one is on the horizon! His retirement party is November 14th at the Carriage House Restaurant so we're all looking forward to that.

Lynn,
Congratulations to Dan! Such a worthwhile accomplishment and one to be very proud of. I appreciate Dan and all those who serve in this Country. Their value is often understated and taken for granted. Wishing you all the best in this next stage of your lives!
